Safeguarding & Welfare
We believe Gymnastics should be fun, and that everyone should feel safe and enjoy the sport of gymnastics.
Your child is in safe hands at J’amies Gymnastics Academy.
We have a clear commitment to child welfare and the safeguarding of our students is of the highest priority.
We require our coaches to have an Enhanced Clearance via the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service, formerly Criminal Records Bureau or CRB), Safeguarding Training, First Aid and the appropriate teaching qualification to teach.
Every JGA Team Leader is in regular contact with a dedicated child protection team.
We perform regular checks to ensure that our academies and staff are operating at the highest level of child welfare standards. All necessary insurance, fire safety and first aid protocols are established within every JGA Academy.
We have two welfare officers at JGA, their names are Jade and Dawn. If you have any welfare worries or concerns please contact our welfare team at welfare@jgagroup.co.uk and this will be sent directly to them. You can view our Club Policies here
